The battle-damaged look is a bit more obvious on Din Djarin's helmet than what you see in the video, but no way near as nice as the pictures on the DN website.

These all look like a super rushed paint job.

That must be a bad April Fool's joke. I emailed customer service and asked for clarification. I already pre-ordered this helmet in March. If the end product looks the same, they're more than welcome to keep it. I don't give money for something like that. This has nothing to do with high-end products. Embarrassing to present something like this as a first look at a convention...

From what I’ve heard the sizing is pretty accurate to the helmet used in the show…it’s very small. Hopefully their production piece doesn’t look like I painted it after a 3 day bender…

I thought that about my Anovos helmet, but if you take it outside in the daylight it looks really good.

The dark color is correct for season 1.The Anovos looks the same...has only a lot more glossy clearcoat as the EFX.

In DN's latest Facebook post they are using a photo of the screen used helmet to promote their helmet. It's covered in watermarks saying Confidential. I don't think they're supposed to be showing this lol. Also a little deceptive given how much worse the actual DN helmet looks.

Unfortunately no one from DN has replied to my email to clarify the situation with the Bo-Katan helmet. I took the current advertising mail as an occasion and wrote it again...

I don't know that the sample Bo helmet shown at Celebration will be what is actually sent. I assume the helmets will be made overseas. The sample may just be a one off helmet and not produced in the same way as the production helmets. However, the quality of that sample helmet is certainly concerning.

I would expect the sample one-off helmet to be better quality as it's not mass produced.

They need to hire Mr Moldmaker to paint the Bo Katan helmets. His are excellent.

That is what I would expect too. It's odd that the one in the single photo on the DN site looks so much different than the one that was at Celebration. I don't think there is any way to know if either of these are close to what the production samples will be since they haven't said much. However I don't have much confidence in their ability to produce a good looking heavily weathered helmet. The x-wing helmets have decent weathering, but the weathering is much simpler than the Bo helmet.
