Denuo Novo (only) New and existing products

Heard back on the FOTK. The armor will ship as soon as in stock. Those of us "legacy" Anovos customers who ordered the full ensemble will get the gaskets and helmet as they come up for sale later in 2022. Disney/LFL have only approved the TLJ style for sale at this time (they apparently are trying to retcon the TFA version out of existence). And while the pieces are separated (so as to not ship things in a shipping crate), there's going to be one to four inches of "flash" that the buyer will need to trim off.

I'm personally probably going to go with Teresa's gaskets and see if I can get store credit for however much they'll sell for from DN. I need to see if the person who had the TFA Anovos helmet still has it and still wants to swap for the TLJ. Otherwise, the hunt begins...

Thanks for the update - still waiting for the FOTK kit, they haven’t sent an email to me yet

Nor me. I reached out to them back when they made their initial announcement, and have poked them at relevant intervals. I've stayed actively engaged, but not pestering. I want to know what I'm working with, and they've been forthcoming. :)

I saved my order with Anovos and screenshotted my orders as well. I emailed DN when they made the announcement and they replied in the affirmative to that email which I have kept. Emailing them further I didn’t feel was going to help me any, thankfully, others do and share. For this I thank you.

I haven't been following much of the DN news, so tonight I went on the website for the first time in months.
Is it just me or are prices for certain items a little up there?!
$650 for a Solo vest? $550 for a shirt? $650 for pants? I know there are license fees, but really?!

They are higher… only issue is the cost of materials in general. I bought the same rubber gloves I have bought for years but were 30 percent higher when I recently bought them.
But excluding that, people are simply willing to pay more. It’s silly really. My hot toys figures cost more than they ever have that’s for sure.

Hey I have an idea, lets start a new company selling high end Sci Fi Props and lets make the name sound like Anovos!

Sounds like not a good business decision,

I wonder how its working out for them?

I don't think I would buy anything after my previous experiences in this niche, and with good reason. I know there are a lot of other people with my same opinion,

It's nice to see they are filling Anovos orders but they have a long way to go to earning my trust.

In all fairness, that is well beyond nice. DN had no obligations to take over some of those unfulfilled orders.
I've never seen a company do that before. That's a spectacular turn of events, and I wish they could do that will the non-SW unfulfilled orders too.

And yes, I can see how starting a new company with a name (and graphic style) closely related to a failed one would cause trust issues. I still don't get why they went in that direction.

I seriously doubt that they are filling Anovos Orders out of the goodness of their hearts, however it doesn't hurt if it looks that way.

It was probably a deal they had to make in order to get the Star Wars license.

Very likely, yes.

I was a bit shocked at these. Todd has them for $99 and $124. Just picked them up and they are awesome.

No pants though. Still looking for those.

Todd even has the differences in the Solo rigs correct. Not just stuff in them but how the entire rig is different. Stitching on ROTJ vs. folded and glued on ANH, etc. I have his ANH and ROTJ rig and they are both amazing.

Now to me, THIS is more reasonable.
I mean, it's a vest. No sleeves, a few pockets, that's it. If this was officially licensed and $50 more: sure. NP.
But....$650? Six Hundred and Fifty Dollars?!?

If I was 30 years younger I believe my response would be: LOL.

I would buy the belt at $29 and not even for a costume! Amazing what you can get for 0-199 nowadays! Will skip the blaster stand though, i haven’t made stands for my 3D printed items and not really in a hurry

The explanation of this seems like overkill. Garage makers have been cranking the same helmet out without the fancy paint process for over two years now. Nevermind the studio did the same thing. Personally I would rather have seen a timeline and details on how they created their helmet.
And for them to quit charging $100 for shipping.
