Denuo Novo (only) New and existing products

Mine was made in the USA. Ordered direct from DN, but this was shipped from Westbury, NY. This appears to be from the new batch. I'm guessing you got yours from before October?

I noticed the shipping label on the box my Jango and several other DN helmets came in shows Westbury NY as the return address. However the UPS tracking on the shipment shows it originated in Mc Allen, TX.

It looks like the helmets made overseas show a New Berlin, WI return address and an Oak Creek, WI origin on the UPS tracking.

Did you ever get it replaced? My EFX Mando Season 2 helmet is also smaller than the S1. Not sure I remember the visor being clear.
I returned it to Sideshow as I just couldn't keep a helmet that didn't fit. The visor of the S2 helmet was practically see through. Absolutely a different plastic or whatever than the S2. It was a big disappointment for me.

Did you end up taking a loss on it or were you able to claim it was faulty?

Some people on Facebook have pointed out that the Denuo Novo Premier Executioner helmet I received does not have the black between the large black stripe and the black trapezoid. I suspect the prototype is the one produced by Anovos. The prototype of the Denuo Novo Standard (plastic) Executioner helmet does not have this part painted black. The product page photos are shown below with the area circled.

Does anyone know of a good photo of a screen used helmet that shows that side? Most products of the Executioner helmet have that part painted black.

Sideshow gives full refunds when returned in a certain amount of time. I returned it fairly quickly, within days if receiving it.

Oh! Did not know that. I assumed if it was just being returned because of buyer's remorse that you would get charged for shipping and possibly even a restocking fee.

I had no option for return on the life-sized Boba Fett statue unless something was faulty and they would replace the faulty piece. Considering the price to ship the thing, I completely get it.

Ahh yea they could have different rules regarding the Lifesize items. I've never ventured into those waters lol.

I had to drop $100+ to return my Jango Fett to Big Bad Toy Store. So far no response to my request to reimbursed, but I did get the refund.

Not thrilled with BBTS. The helmet looked nothing like the pics and it felt very cheap and flimsy. It did have a very dark visor, but of course way to wide.

Say what you will about Amazon and Ebay, I am a very good customer and they always take care of me. Very good BBTS customer as well. Not anymore.

The good news is this kicked me in the butt to get my Bobamaker Jango finally finished and I could not be happier with it. 1,000 times better and cheaper.

There was a 2 year wait for the Bobamaker Jango when I reached out. Has that changed at all?

Doubtful. The demand for his stuff just gets bigger. I got mine I think after 6 months, but it was an 18 month wait for my full 1/1 Boba. That was all the same order. I think I put in my order about two years ago. He is the man and worth the wait though.

When I asked Bobamaker how much Jango was a couple years ago it was over $800 for a finished cold cast helmet. Has that changed?

$450 for kit. I got the kit. It is not hard to paint as he designed it so well. If I can paint it anyone can. Painting is not my best skill. His finished props are a lot more and a longer wait. I looked at it and I did not think the extra cost was worth it.

Oh ok. Yeah I agree, it's a really easy helmet to paint. His price for a finished one is way too much.

Looks great! I may consider it now when the next sale rolls around. One minor thing that's always bothered me is that you can see little bit of the rubber underneath the bottom front of the helmet. The non-premier ones don't have it.

I think he prefers kits, so charges a lot for finished stuff as it takes a lot longer. If I could afford it I would get fully finished as I have sooo many projects but I am on a budget, like we all are.

Okay BBTS offered me $50 store credit for the $100 I had to spend on the return, which I appreciate.

She said they have to pay shipping if it is just a return because it's not liked, or they changed from prototype to production. If it's damaged they don't have to pay for returns.

She suggested using loot pile to avoid it being shipped until unboxing videos are done, but that brought up the non refundable deposit. She said if it's a result of a change when production starts and you don't like the final product to contact them and they will work with you.

So, can't complain. Lost a lot less than trying to sell it.

It's inconsistent in the canon. The Fathead wall sticker shows that part to be black:

The animated version in Resistance very clearly shows that bit to be white:

The movie itself doesn't show them clearly enough, and I haven't found any pics of the costumes on display or at public events that show that side.

Thanks for the photos. I have seen small versions of the sticker photo which made it hard to clearly see small details. In this one it is clearly black.

Gotta love the lack of consistency between official projects. I haven't seen Resistance so I don't know how consistent it is in general with live action designs.

I know the executioners had a very small part in the film, but you would think there would be better photos of the costume when the only reason for having a unique costume is to sell merchandise of that costume. The same with the Sith Trooper in TROS.
