Deagostini Falcon. Anyone seen this?

no longer collecting them? What happened?

The new teaching job I thought I had did not end up happening.

I reported misconduct of a staff member and suddenly they changed their minds before my contract was signed.

I was getting two of the Deagos so I am gonna try to keep the one but sell the second one.

Just a heads up. I noticed that Deago charged my account on the 12th of this month with no notice of shipment now 10 days later. I called today and they said that shipment 9 issues 33-36 are on back order here in the US. He suspected that it would be a week or so before they shipped. I apologize in advance if anyone has already mentioned this.

Well, crap. I was wondering why I hadn't gotten a shipping notice yet.

I'm also waiting on shipment 9. I was billed 10/19 (a Mon). I usually get a shipping notice the following Wednesday, then delivery the following Saturday.

Did DeAg offer an estimated time?

Good thing (for Deago, I mean) that in light of the backlog they were still able to charge us on time.

On another note, I've got two subscriptions going and I'm not sure I want both. Originally, I thought I would build two--one in flight and one on the ground in a diorama. (I was probably sniffing modeling supplies.) I also thought I could still sell the second if I never used it. Now, I'm thinking neither of those options might work. I won't have enough space for two and selling one might be at a loss. What have people encountered who have either bought or sold a partial subscription? Thanks.

This might help you make up your mind. The landing gear bays have small holes for fixing supplied metal pins, and the blanking plates with hull plating etc. supplied for the in flight configuration come with corresponding magnets to be fitted. Therefore, it should be easy to change the configuration of the model from landed to in flight as it looks very much like they have thought of this when designing the model. The only downside to this is that you can of course see the panel line around the blanking plate when it is stuck to the model on the magnets and I am unsure as to whether the original 32" Falcon had that or not. You obviously cannot fill the gap if you want to change the configuration.

So, if you want to display the two different configurations simultaneously you will need two, but if you want the option to change the way you display the model from time to time, you should be able to get by with one.

Unfortunately Pack 9 wasn’t yet available and needed to be imported to the US, we just received the shipment recently and you should be receiving a shipping notification over the next 24-48 hours. The way our subscriptions work is we automatically bill your card every 27 days and ship every 30 ideally

This is what they told me..24 hours ago :) Still no ship yet... The previous pack they never sent me a ship email...and the box came smashed up.

Hmmmm

On another note, as usual when I call, they ask me my last name and zip code. The operator said "only one in 95023." Crazy to think that I'm the only one in my town who has ordered this! Although we only have a population of around 40,000. Maybe it's just me who's the crazy one? HAHA!!

The fact that this is a model, isn't pre-painted,spread out over 2 years, costs thousands of dollars, mostly a kit not known to general public...really cuts down on the amount of people who ordered this....More people will own a funko spock :)

I understand your pain... My income level has taken a big hit, thus my falcon parts have all just been going into a box for later use. I don't dare start major work on it now..Just trying to keep the costs down for now. It's wayyy cheaper to not put it together :)

It has not cost me a dime to build it??? You can go back and make all the mods you want. Building it has been a blast but it does take some time. I think it would be a lot more work and less fun trying to build it all at once.

Open that bad boy and get to it.

I still have my one and shipment #9 is on the way.

Thanks
