Deagostini Falcon. Anyone seen this?

It wouldn't be hard to design the replacement pieces, but you would need to have them printed in ultra detail and Shapeways charges by the amount of material used. These would cost in excess of a $100.00. It is so much easier to just buy the corrected parts from France @

Use Google Chrome as your browser and just translate and it will give you the pages in English so you can set up your account and purchase them just like any other site.
I ordered issue 1 & 3 on Wednesday and the total cost including shipping was $27.62 with PayPal. They ship Air France and it only takes 8-10 working days to arrive anywhere in the continental US.
I just checked and they are out of issue 1, but they get new stock weekly. I checked every day for a week before they had new stock on issue 3 and I immediately order both issues.
So here's a question, by the time we get to the other corridor passage on the other side of the ship are they going to produce correct versions or ones to match the incorrect TP 1 and 2 corridor panels? My guess is that they are going to match the incorrect parts then we're left trying to purchase the correct parts again from somewhere else.

I'm currently correcting the French parts for the corridor, got to add the notches and stared correcting the end nearest the hatch, As I'm helping several friends to build theirs too I'm hoping to try and cast a few or maybe find someone on here with the better skills to maybe make a batch? I've been documenting the process but need to start a thread I guess, figure there could be some interest for more of these if it's an acceptable thing?

Does that include the bottom and side notches as well?

Yes all notches and a few missing warts(raised squares), once I've sorted then correctly via multiple reference photos and measurements, also going to do the missing notches on the cockpit tunnel too

Pictures of your findings and final corrections would be very useful to everybody trying to get this project as close to original as possible. We all appreciate the effort a few have put into this.

I'll get a thread started and keep it updated, tho slow going for me as still up skilling, thankfully my X-Wing is nearly complete I've learnt a lot already and my castings for the Finemolds Falcons I've been playing with have come well so fingers crossed

For those of you not checking your parts as you get them..Got my 1st damaged part (big hull piece too!). They have also started to get very sloppy with the packing of the parts. This last shipment was 2nd in a row where is was barely taped together. Also one of the bags was completely open on one end.

Does anyone have a spare issue #6 (original issue not the new 'updated' version) cockpit top and bottom halfs that they do not want.

However, I am not looking to buy the entire issue unless it is my last resort. I am hopeful to buy from a fellow forum member and avoid the high shipping cost associated with ebay.

I'm thinking abuut jumping into the Falcon kit, but had a couple questions.
Does anyone know for sure if they will be offering a full kit once the subscriptions have run their course?
Or - if someone were wanting out of their subscription or had a second, can you contact Deagostini and start a new subscription at a certion point in the issues run?
