"1/48" Deagostini Millenium Falcon

Hello,

i found some issues of the Deagostini Millenium Falcon, i got the first 15 quite cheap, for only 7 bucks per issue.

the other 16-60 with some exceptions i paied the original price of 13 bucks

some pack are missing from the bottom, 37 should arive tomorrow

initialy i used the official deagostini forum, witch has alot of pictures of the build, so i orientated on them, but had to learn, that their pictures are not complete, so i'm missing parts of the hull and frame from issues 26, 27, 28, 40 and 41

i switched to

witch has all 101 Issues well documented, whats inside the issues and what to do with it

i should be able to finish the lower in a few days, when 26, 27, 28 and 41 arrive. 40 is to expensive, so i have to "scratch/reverse engineer" the missing plate.

to complete my kit so far i had to use "used sites" and "evilbay" from England, Ireland, Netherland, Italy, France, Germany, Austria...

thats what i have so far, more parts will arive "soon"

in the begginig i was not sure, if u could get "all" parts or will i get scamed, but now it looks promising

and the 1/48 figures fit well

the length of the Millenium Falcon ranges from 27 up to 40m, deagostini uses the 34m witch makes it 1/43, but i use the "40m" variant witch makes it 1/48.

It's too bad that Shapeways is bankrupt or I would link you to a page that was selling figures of Han, Chewie, Leia, and C-3PO in scale with the cockpit. 3PO was even printed in clear so you could dremel into the back of his head, insert a SMT prewired LED into it, and then mask the eyes and paint the rest of his head gold to light block it.

In any case, I got all my parts for the Falcon, so I'm sure you will eventually. It's a beautiful model, so it's definitely going to make you very happy!

at first i thoughed, i only have a view parts of the frame, but when laying it together, thats alot

i'm only missing 64, 65, 66 for the frame and 70, 71 for the jaw(s)
41 still on the way 48, 61, 62, 63 on the way
and i also orderd some mandible parts 81, 82, 83

i already had some broken frame parts, but this time i also had a bent part, an important part

so i carefully bent it step by step in all kind of directions, to make it correct again

i'm not a falcon expert, but can someone tell me, what kind of wheels those small light blue circles are?
the big dark blue exhaust circles are probably plastruct parts?

maybe someone replaced his/her exhaust cirlces with "tuning" ones, so if not needed, you could send me 1 for refrence, or all six
