I got suited up recently for a local con. didn't get a chance to do the icebox breakout, but here is the final battle shemagh ,ripped shirt and time travel device. the BFG is my foam version and was wayyyy eaiier to lug around.

Anybody know if the bates cobra 8” zipper boots are desert or sage. As the boots look like dark brown. Looking at all the pics are making me lean towards sage.
Any imput and opinions would be great.

I actually have both. Here they are side by side:

I think the canvas and the rubber were more screen accurate with the sage green, so I modified those for my costume.

Closer to finishing this protype/ sample. Needs some clear Perspex it resin over the chip. Might even 3D print the chip surround in metal if it’s not to expensive.

Where can I get safe replica grenades?

Here in the states the easiest is probably going with Evike. But you can find a few different options by googling “40mm dummy grenade” or “40mm inert round”.

I have both, but no longer use my inert rounds for this costume. They look great, and feel fantastic to handle (being all metal), but they just move around too much up on the shoulder. Also the inert rounds I have are for a Mk19, which isn’t screen accurate (even after cutting the belt off of the rounds).
