Limited Run Darth Maul TPM screen accurate lightsaber prop

Nice. There were a couple different emitter end construction on the screen used props. I chose the flat aluminum plate version, but the one with the steel flange is pretty cool as well when it gets all rusty.

I had to go with the aged emitter look since no one in the “Star Wars” universe seems to take care of their possessions and routinely let them fall into disrepair as a way of life—even a Sith, apparently.

:)
Map the flange was a separate piece altogether on that screen-used hilt then?

Just got around to paying for mine!

Went to lowes today and snagged the 3/8 rod as well as some nylon washers for alignment. What are you all doing for the covertec, anyone mounted one to this yet?

My Covertec knob is on a slow boat from England. I plan on using a socket head screw to mount it with. It should be easy to do.

Just finished mine up.

I can't help with that part - I've just had one in my pile since the early prequel days.

Where are you guys finding flat backed covertec wheels?

So I think only the original covertec wheels come flat

I can’t prove this until mine shows up

It looks like custom saber shop only has ones with a bevel on the opposite side to fit flush on the saber

The original wheels also seam to be made of plastic and have a seam down the middle of them from they way they are made

I grabbed a covertec kit from eBay, 11.99

I bought a bag of accurate Covertec wheels on eBay, some months back, in anticipation of various prequel builds.

My research indicates that the TPM sabers used 8/32” Phillips head screws to mount the wheels, whereas later prequel sabers used the socket head screws, which are less glaringly obvious.

I haven’t seen reference to confirm whether or not Maul’s saber used a Phillips head, but I’m sure the experts can chime in. Looks like the licensed replicas went that route.

Thanks Greg, any advice on finding them on eBay again?
