Cyberpunk city diorama

Love the smooth and shiny paint job on the car. Great color as well.

Really looks convincing as a metallic car color finish

And the lighting really completes the look

Thank you, Analyzer-san!

We need to get Katsu a big warehouse so he can just keep on building, building and building.

:lol:Thanks for the kind words, Michael-san. I always envy the big garage or basement room of the Western house. My small shack but maybe rather blessed here in Japan. The good thing is you don't have to walk around to reach any tools.:D

Just saw this video of interesting car designs.
While you probably don't even need any help with being creative, seeing things like this can sometimes help spark a good idea.

Oh, I always love these inspiring videos.
So far, I built a conservative-looking car but it should be fun to build those exotic cars!

Thanks, Michael-san!

You’re an inspiration mate !, and this project is simply awesome !
Your wife probably asked “when it’s going to be finished” ?, cause she’s needing your ‘focused’ attention elsewhere around the home :D !...., but I’m sure that a gentleman of your many skills and talents can ‘juggle’ a dozen knives, spin two dozen teacups, create/design/build/model and prepare a dinner banquet simultaneously, without skipping a beat anyway !:p
You rock Katsu-San !

Thank you, Ged-san,

As you said, we will be in a busy season taking care of our house.
Rainy season and mid-summer. Those small gardens will be a jungle of Nicaragua soon if we overlook the weeds. Many things to do.

Next Sunday is Father's Day. Yuki came back here with a little present for me last night.

So, we had dinner together. I cooked, of course. And my wife hands her a fresh cut of flowers from our garden. And some bread she baked. Also,
Yuki got all the leftovers from the dinner. Throw a sprat to catch a whale. She is good at it!;)

This morning, I cooked her steak bento. And maybe this bento will be a little more than the 1500th bento I made. She'll have her retirement day on December 2024. 300 or 400 more bento?

All these things are insignificant and ordinally things in life maybe.
But we are so happy with them.

Love that design

reminds me of a cross between the old Dodge Charger (like the Duke's of Hazard General Lee style) and the Speed Racer Mach 5

and looks like you had a great lead up to Father's Day!

Looking good.
And Happy Fathers day.
All that food looks good.

Thanks a lot, Michael-san!

Oh, Thank you so much, I'd love that TV show!

Happy Father's day Katsu-san:notworthy::notworthy: That car has the lines of a Buick Riviera on acid:cool::cool:(y)(y):notworthy::notworthy:

Thank you, joberg-san!

I'm struggling to build a car that won't make you disappointed.
I always realized that America is the country of a vehicle. Mercedes is OK, Audi is fine, too, BMW? why not? But still, I love American hot cars. Look at that black Buick Riviera!! That's the dream car.
Many unique cars in many US TV shows are always fascinating to me.

Chevy Corvette in 'Route 66'

'Black Beauty' in 'Green Hornet'
1687834883166.png

'Bat Mobile' of course!

'General Lee' in Dukes of Hazard'
1687835563758.png

'Striped Tomato' (Japanese name Crimzon thunder') in Starsky and Hatch.

1687835338204.png

'Knight 2000' in Knight Rider
1687835493649.png

Many many more!

So, I might need more effort to build something you like. As I watch the works like the great paint job on Michael-san's Falcon and the fascinating space dock by joberg-san could really make me astounded and motivated me.

So far, I could put up some boring pics but the cabin and the chassis will be finished soon. I think I would paint this metallic red with some stripes.

The first watermelon this year.

It's been a while since I made Chinese food.

What an awesome way to make wheel rims and hub caps. Old master mechanics technique with the use of hard wood carving and press to form curves from aluminum. Then, there is the beautiful photography. The eye combined with skill demonstrates your creativity for us to enjoy.

Thank you so much for your comments, my friends.

Tom-san, joberg-san, and Searun-san, thank you, always!

Love the mag wheels! and love seeing how you made them
Watermelons look delicious

..and Daisy Duke...one of my first "crushes"

Also that cat peeking out from behind the laptop is hilarious
Thank you, Analyzer-san!

Daisy Duke! No wonder! She is so hot! My father used to say 'What a hot woman!'. I remember my mother was staring at him when he said that.

OK, My first crush was her.

Squadder 'Anne' from the TV series 'Ultra Seven' 1967.
I was 10.

Who was your first crush on TV? :D

Love that car to bits Katsu-san:cool::cool::notworthy::notworthy:

Thank you joberg-Master Modeler! :notworthy: :notworthy:

Car looks amazing!

Also love Ultraman.

They used to show the english dubbed versions here in the 70's when I was a kid. Used to watch that and Stablazers (aka Space Battleship Yamato) after school

Thank you, my friend!
Oh, loved both shows, too. The first run of Yamato on the air was so sensational even to a high school boy like us.

By the way, how was the trip to California?
