Cyberpunk city diorama

I know there are similar words in the Western tongue. **** hot or Fu*kn' great, some like that. The good point of Yabai is no restriction to use. I mean no beep if you even use it in public broadcasting.

There may be several ways to build the body of a miniature vehicle. For this first car, I think I am gonna use the MDF plate to make the basic shape.

Incredible workmanship, Katsu!

Thank you, Carlb-san!

Just got back from vacation and eager to see some updates

I love the process of making the wheels and tires. Genius

Thank you, Analyzer-san!
A vacation in a big country would be fabulous! Was it a long drive trip or fly over to a beautiful place?
Oh! I miss the previous family trip 6 years ago.

I'm wondering a thing these days. We are at the point of paradigm-shifting. Maybe in a year or less, every model (or illustration, writing, designing...etc) will be able to be designed with an AI (Chat GPT?), and if you find the pleased one, just click a mouse and let the 3D printer automatically shape it. All you have to do is assemble and paint. Perhaps, this is one of the ways to build a model.
On the other hand, usual professional modelers or creater whatever, might be extinct or at least, facing a hard time. An amateur geek modeler like me is lucky maybe. Because I am able to choose the way to squeeze the idea and design all by myself and build it with my filthy hands with primitive tools that I love so much. And showing someone another aspect or concept of model building, a bit inspiring and a bit entertaining them in a little while. That is such a big reward for me.

It is a bit sad and fearful. But as usual, we can't stop the big tide.

I like AI art just to see what weird wacky thing a computer can come up with, but it should NEVER be allowed to take the place of a creative human in any type of job. I read that thats what this whole writers strike is about this time.
I'm awakened! You are right! AI never beat the fine arts of Van Gogh or any other really creative people forever! (y)
Great stuff Katsu-san...that car will be A+:cool:(y)(y):notworthy::notworthy:
Thank you, always, joberg-san!

local vacation this time. But next month I will be doing another drive out to California from Pennsylvania. But this time my daughter gets to tag along

as far as the future of modeling...You do not even need to paint anymore. places like hero forge are now 3-D printing, in color!

For me that takes all the joy out of it though

I often like the building and painting process better than just looking at the end result

As far as the car, love the design and great to see how you make it

You’ll always be my model ‘AI’ Katsu-san !!! :p:p:p;)

If your AI means 'Absolute Idiot' that is correct!
Thank you, Ged-san! (y)

Wow, Philadelphia to California! it must be more than 2,700 miles! 500 miles a day, likely a week's drive for a one-way. there must be many beautiful places and good food along the way. Ahh, envy! I guess you will take a video or photo of it. It will be a great memorial for your beautiful family.

And oh, I agree about the modeling joy. Unlike business, the vital thing in this hobby is not a result but a process. Just like life!

Just a little progress because there is not much time for building these days.

This ‘car’ reminds me of the Gerry Anderson vehicle from Thunderbirds - the Pink Rolls Royce with a similar wheel base & number of tyres. Interested to see how you’ll finish her Katsu-san .

As for the ‘AI’ when I’m referencing you mate ?, it = Absolutely Inspirational !(y)!!!

Thanks, I always love Gerry Anderson's vehicles.
So my first scratch build was Captain Scarlet's Spectrum Pursuit Vehicle!

Very Thunderbirds indeed...and looking very good so far:cool::cool:(y)(y)
Thank you!

There are some very impressive 6-wheel vehicles for me.
Maybe you knew it but,

Here's one, Panther 6.

1685068497438.png

1685069468601.png

That was manufactured by a British small company maybe in 1977 or 78.
capable of 600 bhp from its 8.3 liters (500 cu. in), twin-turbocharged Cadillac V8 which was mounted behind the two seats. The claims of a 200 mph top speed were never tested and there had been suggestions that the car could do 240 mph with the right gearing, this is highly unlikely of course but it was utterly mind-blowing in 1977. It has digital indicators, 2 carphones, TV set on the center console. Unfortunately, only 2 Panther 6 had been out of the production line and then production had been canceled due to the Oil Shoch Crisis. This var is still existing. One of them is in a garage of the Arabian royal family. Very ironic.

And this Tyrell F-1 was also very impressive.

That was the very good era of F-1 racing and this machine left some good achievements until the F-1 commissioner revised the regulations.

Ah, Panther Cars, the picture of the six wheeler with the "ordinary" Panther cars is outside there factory at the former Brooklands racing track here in Surrey, which is now Mercedes Benz world.

Fantastic work as always, your car looks like a big 1970s version of FAB 1, and that's a good thing!

:)

Thank you for the info about the other Panther, Doc-san!
I always love the car of the 60s and 70s!

Love the 6 wheeled car look

and speaking of Indy cars/formula 1 racing, a weird coincidence

my wife's uncle was an judge/official for racing. He is the guy here in white watching the pit crew for Mario Andretti

Unfortunately he had passed away recently, but this was the picture they had for his service this past weekend

1685251176360.png

And my wife's brother used to work on Mario's personal cars. Mario's always insisted on him to do his cars service or inspections when he would bring them into the garage

OMG! What a... Judge/Official of the Mario Andretti! It's like a referee of Muhammad Ali or the Filming staff of Bruce Lee. Mario Andretti is the legendary genius racer of all time. And your uncle in the picture is so cool. Of course, the car in the other picture frame is a 60s Chevlorett Corvet Stingray. It's a memorial service worthy of your splendid uncle's achievements. We pray for his soul.

We had a rather large earthquake the other day while we were sleeping. That was a scale of 5 but didn't affect any damage for us except the Diorama. It's not so serious and today, I fixed it and I am adding some more lighting.

A little happiness for us.

Here is some tea of rose which was bloomed in our garden.
The rose was planted by my father more than 50 years ago.
It's like drinkable perfume.

And here's one of the best cocktails I love.
Mint Julep. Bourbon whiskey and fresh mint is the gift from god.

And the bad news is we gonna have a very big and strong typhoon this weekend. I really hope it doesn't harm us again.
