Ahh... I'm not a good photographer but hoping you got a mood.

I used a capsule toy bubble but I want some more clarity and evenly thickness though.
Maybe I should vacuum-forming it.

Thanks for looking!

Love the neon blacklight look. So much you can do with stuff like that.
I guess so, too. I am gonna seek out anything possible.
Fantastic all around from the lighting and building to the figures
Thank you, Analyzer-san. I may have to build many figures later, so this was good practice for that.

Love the bubbles because the holes in them permit the dancers to pass their hands out and call the customers passing by;)

I wasn't noticed but indeed! She is reaching out from the hole for sure.

Thanks! :notworthy:

Then I would go for the upper structure.

One more topic.
There is an old radio illuminated with neons.
A few days ago its neons were dead. My wife bought me more than 20 years ago and it had been lit all the time.

They say repairing neon would need a certain qualification.
So I found the shop and ask them to repair this. I shipped it and they said it may cost about $700. No way, The original price was not more than $200. So I asked them to send it back. Well, let's see what I can do.

One of the neon had broken and the trance was dead.
So I remove them and replaced them with LED strip lights.
This light is getting better and more reasonable price these days.

Connecting the two different color tubes. That was easy.

Looks OK to me.

It cost me $30. Not bad.

This tube light is pretty bright and very tough, flexible, and, has no heat emission. Maybe I would use it for another model building.

Thanks for looking.

I hope I can post the progress once more by the end of the year I don't know but I wish you a very Merry Christmas.

Good to see the girls are staying hydrated, sign of a conscientious employer.

Love all the mechanical and piping stuff added to the building. Really looks like it belongs and has a purpose

Also, great job on the radio repair. Saved yourself a lot of money and it looks perfect. Very nice piece of art

It reflects the conscience of the creator.
Nice job on refurbishing the radio!
Thank you!
Very good work Katsu-san:notworthy::notworthy: I think a pole would be a nice addition for those 2 dancers;)
Ahhhhh! joberg-san, why didn't you tell me earlier?! That's a great idea!
You are truly the experienced expert on those things.
Thanks!

Thank you, Analyzer-san. It took time but I'm happy to hear that!
700 to do what you did for 30...impressive.
Looks good.
I was really surprised by that quote.
Thank you!

Yesterday, I got another mission from my daughter Yuki again.
She is gonna obtain an antique sewing machine like this.
Because she needs a stable pedestal for her electric sewing machine.

So I have to restore it and give it a paint job and put the wooden table on it. I may have to make the tabletop on the same level when I put the machine on.

Piece of cake!

Thaks for looking!

Oh yeah, you'll make that thing look completely awesome..
No worries there.
Thank you so much! Michael-san!
My mother had a sewing machine stand like that for her sewing machine. They really work. Your magic will make the entire stand and table look super!
Thank you, stevie-san!

Yes, it does. In fact, Yuki's first sewing machine is the one my mother used to use when she was young. Nearly 70 years ago.

We put the machine to a shop several years ago for maintenance while I was restoring the machine stand and wooden parts. Now she has five machines and one of them is it. The one on the left side of the window. She said it is still very efficient.

Love the arch design for the building. Reminds me of the bottom part of the old World Trade Center buildings and the new transportation hub

Also, those old sewing machines take me back. My mom had them and I used to always play with the foot pedal and wheel trying to make it go as fast as I could
It was like a pre-cursor to a modern day fidget spinner
