That really does look like it would hurt. Be careful!

Any time I use my power tools in my workshop I try to remind myself that those tools WANT to hurt me. So far, paranoia has kept all my fingers attached and my eyes still functioning. The tools occasionally have a small victory, but nothing too big to gloat about.

So will this establishment cater to those who like cybernetic enhancements, or be limited to off-the-rack humans?

By the way, what if an automaton takes the place of a prostitute? I'm afraid there must be a customer with brutal and violent sexuality. If they harm those automata, will it be an illegal act or not? It was the idea that hasn't been picked up in the movie Blade Runner though, that's what the future you don't want to see.
I watched the old movie Westworld and the recent same TV show. I always thought Michael Crichton is a great foreseen. Andromeda Strain, Jurassic Park, Pursuit. State of fear.
All these have been spotted as issues that we are now afraid of.

Still, the injured thumb is so hurt. So that I couldn't get a good grip and hold on to those parts in my hands and that was frustrating. And at last, the wound has opened again.

Reminds me when I cut my finger 5 years ago working on that battle cruiser.

I used to use super glue to mend some shallow wounds but this time it was a bit too deep.

Rough/violent customers: this problem exist already with establishments offering a sex doll option...but that's a discussion for another forum

I would think that in the case of automata, the customer is simply billed for any damage. Depending on how dark your version of the future, the same might apply to customers damaging the human workers...

We've been told since our childhood that anything shaped like a human has a soul or spirit.
Needless to say as for animals.
Damaging the automata may not as just a violation of property damage. I hope so.

Well, I got a call of duty last weekend.
My daughter Yuki found an old chest of drawers on the internet and love it at first sight. Bought it for 550 dollars. (60,000 JPY) She said she need me to help mend and restore it. I saw the pics of it and got to her apartment with my tools and my wife.

The condition of the chest was not so bad. The old paint job had been sandblasted and naked. Some wormholes were here and there. The hinges and handles were rusted but OK. So, my wife went to the beauty shop to cut her hair up while we polish it all over with some steel wool and applied some putty on wormholes and some damaging spots. She said she'd like to finish it with oil or waxing. Then finished.

Yuki looked so happy with the result and cooked a nice dinner for us.

Back to work on those seducing lady figures.
I had to change the poses drastically on some of those original figures that It took time.
Totally 6 figures are done.

I've sprayed chrome all over but I'm not sure if I might paint the skin color on their faces and limbs.

The girls in the show window look OK.

I put the pics of the psychedelic pattern to see how it looks.
'Psychedelic', what a nostalgic word.

The girls in the bubbles are also almost OK.

It will take a bit more time to finish this part.
