Cyberpunk city diorama

Looking good Katsu-san...(y)(y)are you going to close-up some part? The restaurant for example could have big windows all around, mounted on a ledge off the ground (1/4 of the total height). A big building like this looks a little dangerous sitting on those columns only ;)

You are the man as I expected. :D (y)

Here's a rough sketch of the part.
Later, I added more pillars in between, so that I may set the arch on the upper side.

Huzzah! Katsu-san has made us a Sampo!

That's a little Finish myth, Mystery Science Theater 3000 reference for you.

Amazing work as always Katsu-san.

Thank you, Edge10-san!
My works are not that great and mysterious but, if my little work makes you a bit happy, that makes my life very meaningful.

There you go with being too humble again...haha.
A good trait to have, but really, you are totally awesome with these builds.

Amazing as always!

The folks coming down the fire escape are going to have a bit of a jump there at the end.... :D

 ! Aww, oh sh****t, Tom.....san.
Ahh, This is the future city, ah, maybe more than 50 years later. They actually don't need any fire escape. There are some kinds of shock absorbing or gravity control systems so that people can jump from any height. Therefore this fire escape is now only for clotheslines or smoking pits. But for crime prevention measures like illegal entry, the owner of this building removed the last stair. Ha!!

Shock absorbing systems of the future.

Love the archways and ledges!

as far as the fire escape. Chalk it up to greedy landlords who couldn't care less about safety

of course the mattress option is also hilarious

Not enough progress for a week's work but the ground floor has been partly done.
There should be a few more tenants behind the windows: an apparel shop or something. Whatever.

I thought about the design of the pillars in the store and tried to make it modern.
I hope you’ll like it.

There are some lights leaking that I may have to take care of.
I'll fix them and go on to decorating the upper facade.

Thanks for looking,

katsu

Just found this thread, and everything on here was amazing to look at/read! I really loved the way you made the textures in the stairs, I would've never thought of doing it that way. Can't wait to see what's next!
