Custom District 9 weapon - group build?

So with all the recent news on Weta releasing D9 gun replicas, is anyone else interested in creating some custom weapons based on the film designs?

I've got some designs of my own in mind and I've started mining for parts, here's what I've got so far...

That last part is one of those circular bag dispensers from a diaper genie.

SO WHO'S ONBOARD WITH THIS?? :cool Let's see what the creative minds here on the RPF can come up with, and at the same time, bring back one of the old traditions that made this board what it is today!

Moocricket-Perhaps I didn't make myself clear, this will be a CUSTOM build...not a recreation of anything seen on screen. I was hoping I could get some others to join in on building their own ideas.

I was so amped (is that word still used?) to get to work on this, I didn't have time to set up my light tent and gels and do a proper photo shoot. :lol
