Anyone source a good place for his gun and holster?
His revolver is a Colt 1860 Army model. I own a Denix replica and its quite nice. You can find the Denix 1860 pretty easily.
Yeah, I thought it was an 1860, but was hoping to find a good one for a little less. The wife gave me a limit for this year's Halloween costume

Looks like repros are about $70. I wonder if anyone made a toy gun based on it? A good sized squirt gun would do.

Think I found a good lead on Jakes hat.

The leather band thats tied around it would need to be changed but otherwise it looks like the type of hat he wore.

that gun is way too short - it will look really funny on a grown person. I got my Denix 1860 on Amazon.com
They only had the silver one though- and in one scene you can see that Jake's gun is dark black or blue and has brass accents.
I made my own holster - that was easy with some leather and dye from Tandy.

Kohl's has the indiana jones hat for only $36. its close, but would also need the band changed out.
We picked one up for my wife for both Dr. Who, and Cowbays and Aliens. Its close enough for both for us. They occasionaly run sales, and we got hers for $25 with free shipping.

Yeah, the gauntlet HUD was quite a bit different in the actual movie than what was shown originally at comic con and in the trailer.
Comparison: (I actually like the original version better, looks like they went a little more low-key and organic for the final look.)

I completely agree with you. When that new HUD popped up in the movie I was quite honestly disappointed at how much more simplified it was.
I'm planning on adding white LED's next to all my blue ones as well. It seemed as though there was only a hint of the blue coloration in the bracer lighting with the white dominating.
