Hello there! As a proud owner of the newly released Balance V4 from Roman Props I began conversing with people on Facebook regarding electronics installs for this saber, specifically for the switches and LEDs in the control box. I had some ideas of how I was going to do this for my own build and with some recommendations and encouragement I have decided to have my design produced externally so that all Balance V4 owners can utilize this PCB.
Actual PCB above. The PCB will allow for the installation of two tactile switches and two LEDs into the control box. The solder pads will have traces that run back to a central point on the PCB near the center control box hole so that the connections can be ran to the sound board inside the hilt. The PCB will accept 6x6mm tactile switches and standard LEDs.
As can be seen on the breakout depiction above there will be modifications to the control box in order to make this work, namely two holes created on the copper switch plate so that the tactile switch stems can pass through and two holes created to pass through LEDs or to allow for LEDs to illuminate resin inserts. The clamp card may also need to be modified slightly to allow for a rocker-type functionality between the two switches.

Now offering Neopixel PCB holders for the V4. PCB can be purchased from TCSS and is not included. Here are some prototype pictures, see later in the thread for more information.
Here is the offering and estimated pricing:
1x PCB, 2x 6x6x13mm momentary tactile switches, with instructions and templates for installation. - $15
1x red and 1x green translucent resin triangle inserts and 2x LEDs (original or BRRogers style) - $8 (or both styles for $15)
1x three-piece Neopixel PCB holder set (blade side & hilt side) - $15
US order shipping will be $7 via Priority Mail
Non-US order shipping should be $15 if the final product weight is under 8oz/225g, if over that then $25 is likely (based on USPS estimates)
