I ran across this when searching. Some very good pictures there. Looks like masked spray paint from the orange peel texture. The crosses are longer than I had measured.

A holy water hand grenade from Francis Lawrence's supernatural comic-book adaptation Constantine. John Constantine (Keanu Reeves) crushed a holy water hand grenade against his heart when he briefly transported himself to Hell and watched Isabelle (Rachel Weisz) relive her suicide.

The grenade consists of a hollow transparent sphere with a black ridged screw cap secured to the top. A white-painted cross adorns each side and the sphere displays a pearlescent finish. Signs of wear from production use are present on the grenade, including light scratches, minor paint wear on the crosses and glue remnants along the bottom of the screw cap. Dimensions: 5 cm x 5 cm x 6.5 cm (2" x 2" x 2½")

I snagged this on ebay.

This is where I found mine but they now show as out of stock. I ordered the pink ones from Christmas Central and the iridescent ones from this link.

So these were the 2 inch balls?

I was able to find the soap bubble iridescent glass ornaments on ebay as a set. I'll post pics once I have them in hand. I could not find them anywhere else.

The auction page images are quite detailed. The close ups on the cap show that they were cast so whatever was the original, if a found object, was duplicated. I'm assuming it was modified from the original injection molded part instead of hand sculpted. If you zoom in, you can see the bubbles left in the cast from incomplete or absent vacuum molding when casting. The bottom shows the sanding lines. I'm guessing that they were cast in an opaque resin with black tint. They look very flat. Also the side looks very straight ie no draft.

The top bevel is approximately 30 degrees off vertical. Scaling the top for a 2" ball looks like this

I believe there are 16 "flutes" on the cap assuming equal spacing.

Render with crosses. When I get the new ornaments, I'll print the new caps.

I don’t suppose I can get you to send me a few of those 2 inch bottles? I could buy my own set but I don’t plan to make 10 of these.
