Cool. I was just watching this a couple weeks ago. Has anyone identified the parts that were used to make the original robots?

After modeling each part in 3d builder I import them into meshmixher to convert them into solid objects before slicing them in cura for printing. Here are the tread assemblies ( static non moving) they will be last to print as each on takes more tgan a day of printing. So ive started printing the arms, ill post a couple images once they are all printed. Images are in reverse order for some reason, just know the bad quality is right after modeling, the nice image is the software starting its job and the nicest image is the end result as a solid object.
Great project! Can't wait to see how it comes together.

My friend your wicked awesome you know, two epic robots I am grateful I got to see Johnny's build up, now I shall watch this little beauty come to life. Oh oh I just thought of a cool Robot that might be up your alley for a possible build, I don't know if you ever watched the show but I'm sure you have heard of it.
The bot I have in mind is a bit different (Even he knows it too) how about a reimaging of Crow T Robot from Mystery Science Theater 3000? A bit of Johnny and a set of treads so he can move around be quite awesome. Awesome remix of theme go
Eh just a idea my friend I already know a semi-robotic being we will be bringing to in a awesome way will be awesome too.
He comes from the net, his format, Virus to corrupt and conqueror!
Oh did you by chance get my email my friend? I just wanted to check as I have all the needed supplies to make the Christmas gifts for you and your boys and also the prototype of the aforementioned virus.

Awesome my friend, just get back to me when you can, I want to be sure you and your boys get the Icons before Christmas.
That is amazing, the old adage "Great minds often think alike, but they also think well on their own." works here (I kinda merged the reall old saying of GMTA with a paraphrased version of Robin Williams' classic Great mind think for themselves) oh I just found a page that gives each part the puppet versions of Crow, Tom Servo and Gypsy are made from (I had no idea Gypsy's head was a baby car seat nor that Crow's crest was a hockey mask.)
Mike: Now Crow I told you, no more escape attempts.
Crow: Well believe me Mike, I ran the calculations on if this would work, or I was doing something incredibly stupid... and I went ahead anyway.
Crow was always my fave bot he looks cool and he had the single most hilarious line in my opinion in one movie. The movie fades to everyone in a lab as it fads in we see one of those "What would this actually do on a console" props with lights all around it Crow's response "Raspberry World, for all your raspberry needs." that line sticks to my mind as much as "Price check on prune juice Bob, price check on prune juice." heh looking forward to those bots that keep the movie flowing, since they were made from those special parts that Joel, Mike and Jonah could of used to control the movie segment times.

First of all, Happy Thanksgiving, and secondly I love your CHOPPING MALL killbot creation. As the director and co-writer of the film, you did one helluva job putting it together. The question now arises, how can I purchase three of them? One for star Kelli Maroney, one for my co-writer Steve Mitchell and lastly(and most importantly) one for me. Hey there! Happy thanksgiving to you as well. Thanks so much for reaching out and saying those kind words, it put a smile on my face and I really appreciate it. Obviously I love the film and the awesome killbots but was so dissapointed that no collectibles were ever made of them so I started sketching and contemplating a build of my own. Which manifested in 3d model form. I'm still working on some minor details on the head, treads and body like the hose detail on the back of the flashlight detail on the head, some holes on the wheels for the the treads as well as the number 1, 2 & 3 detail on the tread panel and body but those wont be too much work to add. As for your question my anser is absolutely! It would be an honor to make the 3 and send your way to distribute to the others, knowing a piece of my work in each of your collections would be amazing. Now I know I've only shown the unpainted pieces but as soon as I have the this prototype painted I'll be sure to post it so you can see what to expect a fully finished one to look like. We can discuss in firther detail the next step from here in message but again I am more than happy to move forward in order to make get these killbots to you.
