Thanks for the pic T2SF, don't think I came across that one before.

Back on track.
Made the ejector and replaced the extractor with a metal one. Having problem with ejection at horizontal, but works when rotated a little to the right or tilted upwards. Will be seeing if lighter shells plus the presence of the lifter will solve the issue.

embedding videos doesn't seem to work. vid in link.

You'd be surprised at all the funky weapons churned out during the 60's. Can't say psychedelic drugs didn't have some part in them.

The blue stuff is PVC. I can help in teaching you how to work with the stuff, but not to make your own China Lake specifically by giving you detailed plans and such.

More on that, got the pump grip going.

Could you at least give me measurements of the stock, receiver and the barrel? Specifically width, height, and length.

I love this build.
Do you have any working drawings you could post?
I'm not going to get around to building one anytime soon but I'd love to be able to get an idea of the mechanism.
I had to figure out how a revolver fires when I started building my Blade Runner Blaster.

Thanks,

There's the original drawing I made early on at the start of this thread. What's currently in the gun is very much different from the old sketch, but you'll get the idea. The workings is similar in function to a tube-fed pump action shotgun.

Love that video. It looks like a anime gun yet it's real.

Even in plastic it's perfect for home defense. You just load it, rack it, and point it at them.

hey renegade love this build. china lake id one of my top ten weapons. looks like loading and ejecting is working well congrats man

excelent work what are your plans for teh stock. and how does the trigger work is it similar to the original sketch

That is some precision work there my friend. Super impressive. Will the eventual paintjob muck up the action?
