CAPTAIN AMERICA: TFA suit

Thanks so much Qui-Gonzalez. A lot of those are perfect. You got the angles that aren't in any of my other ref. pics. Lots of great detail. Thanks again.

No prob, man. Glad I got them. I cold have gotten more, but was rather hurried along. And that shield is really thick.

This is the last of them. The scribe lines on the star were really cobbled together on this. I am kicking myself for not hoarding as much time as I could. It was well done.

Enjoy, guys.

Yeah. I went earlier in the year before Cap was put in. I'm looking at going some time in the next couple of weeks - just to photo log the costume from all angles. Wish me luck!

It is REALLY easy to do. I stood there for a good stretch, boring my friend. LOL

Oh, make sure and use the Macro setting.

Looks fantastic. The finished shots look like the wardrobe from the movie. How'd you get it to look so good?

If are you are referring to Qui's pics they are the the actual wardrobe. I don't think the OP finished his yet.

Hey guys,

Trying to find someone so I can ask him about his costume. He is pictured in this thread. If you know any information please send me a message. On the second page of This Thread there are pictures posted in the 13th comment down. Within that comment the 11th picture down, featuring IronMan, Captain America TFA & Wolverine. It is the guy in the Captain America TFA costume I'm interested in getting in touch with. I've seen several pics of that same guy in the Cap America TFA costume from the San Diego Comic Con, but haven't been able to find out who he is or if he made his costume or not. Does anyone know if he made his costume, bought it or if he was hired as a model by the company to walk around in the costume?

Here are a couple more pics of him in the costume, from other websites:

Pic 2

I'm trying to find out who he is, or someone who knows him, so I can ask him about where he got his costume. The detail in his costume is fantastic and I am trying to put together a film accurate Captain America TFA costume.

Thanks in advance, any help anyone could offer would be fantastic. Hope you are all well.

J

Looking really good, dude! For the belts, etc., definitely go to Tandy and use real leather, the fake stuff is great for things like the gloves that you did, but belts really should be real-keep up the great work!

geez its been a long time since i've gotten time to work on this. I'm hoping to finish this costume for Halloween so its going to be a race to the finish. I've finished the pants (which are made from t-shirts) and the belt buckle (made from wood). I'm working on converting sneakers into boots so they'l be comfy to walk around in.
