Can't find Tony Stark's sunglasses from Iron Man 3

Hey guys, can you guys show how you keep your glasses organized? I need advice.

I have this poor system where I just shove all my glasses in their hard cases in a drawer without labels and its a little frustrating digging through several hardcases of the the same brand to find a certain pair.

everything in its right place

Love all of your eyewear storage solutions!! :D(y)

I'm going to have to address my storage situation real soon too, it's getting out of hand!! Lol. (I've been buying more frames!!).

Thought I'd share some pics of my Garrett Leight Grant's.
I found the Grant's quite hard to locate and somehow managed to pay only $60 new...

They are bourbon tortoise and gold BBT-G-DKT/PBN and aren't the correct color code matt black/black mosaic tortoise and gold MBK-G-BKMT/PGY, so I painted the orbitals matt black.
I decided not to permanently modify them (sanding/spraying or dyeing), as I want to retain the frames originality if I ever need to sell them in their original color and with their stock brown glass lenses.
I used water based paint that can just wash off the tortoise orbitals with a little amount of effort, leaving the frames "as was" if needed. The paint job is a little rough as it was more experimental than anything, just to see what they would look like.
I used a tiny soft brush after disassembling the frames.
I might try another non-permanent method to achieve a better finish at some point.

They do the job at the moment though!!

Picked up these new jazzy Kirk Originals "Flare" frames for $40 each...
20210122_131645.jpg 20210122_131725.jpg

I mentioned earlier that Kirk Originals are connected to Kirk & Kirk and IMO the frames definitely have the same vibe, the design and acrylic colors look as if they all come from the same place...

I couldn't say no, especially as Kirk & Kirk frames are in the $400+ bracket.

They are so different to anything I currently have and I really like them, especially the blue with custom light blue lenses.

Sorted out my IM frame collection finishing Strathmore's...

Also, got some Karen Walker "Jarvis" (I call them J.A.R.V.I.S obviously!!), which as I love angular frames, are my current favourites...

Man, I think the cat-eye style is going to be something of an acquired taste, I'll have to "binge wear" them in order to get over the initial shock as quickly as possible!! Lol.

Still not 100% they are same, but everything about them seems to match up. They feel rather cheap in quality, but for a very reasonable $22, I thought "why not?".

I got them from here...

Not sure if it will work, but maybe try this voucher code, it's worth a shot...

...or try the 10% of voucher code THANKYOU - this may just apply to "next orders".

I'll have to watch the movie to see them in action, Lol.

I like the Prada. I'm considering ordering some myself.

Will you go with clear lenses?

Yeah, I think I'll stick with clear lenses, I cheated and removed the black "Prada" logo on the clear demo lenses, just so I could start wearing them straight away!!
You can just notice (only very slightly) at certain angles super close up, where the logo originally was, so I'll get around to putting another set of clear in.:D

I juuuuust bought those vintage aviators given the $21 tag.

Gonna go get me those el cheapo blue blockers from the Hangover Movies.

Thank again UV400 for all the help on the IDs.

Let me know if you notice any big brands in Wanda Vision and the Loki Series.

You're a great help my guy. :)

Unseen promo shots from Endgame, some showing the Flight .006's...

I wonder if this is how Dita maybe had (inside info./or hoped) that the Flight .006's were possibly going to be featured in the movie?? Still, all of the Dita employees got the day off to see the movie!! :D - despite the anticipointment!!.

Also, came across this picture...
20210124_100053.png

I think they might be Mosley Tribes Raynes MT2010-S 1214 rose gold frame with stock pink/brown slightly flash mirror lenses 59□15 140.
The stock product pictures don't show the lenses as "flash" mirror, as it's only a slight flash, they'll need the right angle/light catching them to see it. The lenses are listed as "Pink quartz mirror". The lenses will probably take on more of a bronze/brown than pink appearance too, when actually worn (looking at the lenses in front of the darker case pic as an example)...
20210124_113047.png 20210124_113241.png 20210124_113017.png 20210124_113116.png

On the temple detail, I spotted where the light is catching the raised metal Mosley Tribes logo on the very end "horizontal" part of the logo.
At first I thought the temple tips looked light brown, but you can just make out the clear/cream tip with the red line running through it...
20210124_122056.png

There is also (what looks like the "Raynes" frame too), a special edition Moët & Chandon x Mosley Tribes collab, rose gold frame with "Rosé" and the Moët star etched on the left lens...

Do you have a link to that by any chance?

Thanks for that, mate!

Cheers

I like this red and black

gio,
Just had a really quick look and found some really similar looking frames. They probably aren't the same frames because:

A: The nose bridge looks slightly thicker than your pic.
B: The silver oval temple detail looks like it is positioned differently.
C: It's hard to tell from the angle if the frame shape totally matches up.
D: They really are rather cheap frames.

But, if you like the red and black colorway and want the "look" as a super quick close match, what about these... "Value Range Planet Plus 08" in C6 black/red 50□17, they may be "copies" or "lookalikes" of whatever they actually are...
