I hope you guys like it!! I know Dave worked really hard on it and I hope I represented everyone on here perfectly.
Pretty sure they are Persol 69233 Ratti in black.I was watching an old RDJ movie and he is rocking a pair of persol’s. Not sure the name but I like them.
You found those quick! Thanks brotha!Pretty sure they are Persol 69233 Ratti in black.
In your pic though, all of the silver Persol "arrow" isn't visible, must just be the angle or lighting of the shot.

They are a vintage discontinued frame....

Quite flat across the top, they were an 80's style go-to.
Also worn in havana by Tom Cruise in Cocktail..

Vintage second hand 69233's do come up for sale quite often, but are nearly always in bad shape. The nose bridges are prone to having cracks in them.
Any mint condition frames are quite expensive.
Good news is Persol re-released them!!
They are now called Persol 3225.
The only real difference is the arms are a lot thinner on the 3225's and the "Meflecto" bendy part of the arm detail is chrome not plastic.

I think either the 69233's or 3225's are a movie frame collector must have!

That's what was funny about it he wanted British steel's but I didn't have them and as far as I know they are still available but as far as money goes your right.Well if you can get more money, people will always choose more over less. Sadly, 500+ is the price they command even under the wrong canonical size.
Also trades need to be done in equal rarity, I've never traded an out of production frame for one readily available and money is my first go to tbh.

I guessMaybe they wanted the striated ones from the movie
