Can't find Tony Stark's sunglasses from Iron Man 3

A bit off track, but not sure if anyone ID'ed these posted by Jaymig926 way back on page 135.

I can't seem to find any answer to it already, or any mention of the frames here on the thread.

If they are not already ID'ed or common knowledge, then I think they are Warby Parker Eaton 328 tree swallow fade (a greeny blue over light brown) in one size of 52-20-142.

With this forums tried and tested method of turning the image color right up(!), you can see them much better.

I hope that's them, 'cos I've just went and bought some for $30!!
Just grabbed a pair for $15!! Thanks for the heads up!!

Anyone have any experience with EyeBuyDirect? I found some cool looking frames but I worry for quality.

Same goes with Warby Parker, how are their frames?

Anyone have any comments in the quality of Warby Parker glasses and EyeBuyDirect?

I want a comparison to other brqnds if possible so I know what I'll be expecting. Thanks :)

Just received the Warby’s yesterday they seem like quality sturdy glasses. I sent them off to change the lenses I’ll post pics when I get them back

Found those same warbys on poshmark awhile back but never got em. Hurt a little.

As for Eye Buy Direct...

I'm really curious if they're good. I got bit by the blue Havana / Stripes bug.

Still no reply as yet from Dita, to my query about light blue lenses.

So while waiting, I knocked these lenses up today for the 006's and Magnoli's, as stand-ins until I can decide what to do.

The donor lenses were just cheap, but had the right curvature.

Looking at hebrewersfan's older post showing Dita's own lenses vs Jason's, I think my homemade versions are closer to Jason's in color.

I think they are still too blue, so I'm trying to decide between Tanya's 100% accurate lenses, or Dita's own etched versions...(to get a reply from Dita would be helpful).

Does anyone know how much Dita's etched lenses are and if they can ship them?? Thanks in advance.

I’m looking for some donor lenses for the OP Copters I bought on eBay. My concern is if they do have any UV protection whatsoever, because it would be harmful if they been used outside.

What do you guys think?

Interesting watch. Near the end, it’s interesting the pair of All Ins Jason says is in Iron Man 2 (Blue gradient lenses).

Luxury Eyesite have both 7806 G (dark grey lenses/silver nose pads) & 7806 A (blue mirror lenses/gold nose pads).
Ah. Didn't realise there was a model number difference between the two. Looks like it's 7806 A for me then :)

Still not sure on where to get them from. Was leaning towards luxuryeyesite for the sake of getting everything in one order (with close to accurate lenses), but now thinking just get the glasses, and get the lenses separately from Tanya. Given that, my retailer options open up.

Anyone have experience with here.
They still aren't due for delivery till June like luxuryeyesite, but they've got 13% off (think that's a Friday 13th only thing), which saves ~$100AUD. Tempted.

Hi, I bought mine from them, about the same discount. No problem with them, and they’ll answer quickly to your questions but be ready to wait, and the delivery date can be pushed back a few months (at least that’s what happened to me), but I guess that’s because the demand of Flight 006 is still high. But they’re legit

Color looks great man! The only thing is matching up the curvature. The styles above tend to have flat lenses. The Copter's (being an aviator style), seem to have quite a curve on them.
It's always a bit of a gamble and a lot of trial and error ordering donors online, you never really know until you get them!

I know the purple gradient color on these isn't quite correct...

...but I'm just showing them as an example - I bought the clear versions of these when experimenting with my Bromley's, the curvature in the lenses matched perfectly...

Once cut in half, there was plently of lens width & height to play with, even for the Bromley's! (I should have done them in the blue or pink!).

Maybe if you search for "oversize aviator sunglasses", it'll throw up plently of possible donors;), finding the right color though in 8000+ search results might take a while!!
