I’m guessing when this gets released, it’ll be promoted as the pair Tony Stark wears in iron man 3, even though it’s been the tortoise for the last 2 years!! Hahaha

INITIUM EYEWEAR
Initium Eyewear is produced in Japan and Italy in two small factories that both hand make our brand.
We use Mazzucchelli Zyl that is considered the best Acetate in the industry.
Initium is made of 6mm Acetate sheets which is thicker than most companies as they use 3 and 4mm. We use the 6mm as it gives a more deeper color and it also will resist any color fading and warping. We tumble the 6mm frames to 4.5 to 5mm which gives it that high end feel with the rich color you see with a finished frame.
German hinges and Nose pads on all Initium styles.
Since Initum is a brand inspired by the music industry there are guitar pic temple tips on most of our styles as well as all the names of the models are actually Platinum Albums or Records. For example- Hybrid Moment ( The Misfits), Aces High ( Iron Maiden ) and Cocktails ( Too Short )
We specialize in movies and musicians. We work with Marvel, Sony and Lionsgate. Here are the styles in previous Blockbusters and upcoming movies already finished
Ironman 2 – Robert Downey Jr aka Tony Stark wears the Initium “All In” color Polished Silver in several scenes including the famous court room scene. He also wears the “London Calling” in both Tortoise and Black in 7 scenes.
Sam Rockwell aka Justin Hammer wears the Initium “7th son” in shiny black throughout the complete movie
Ironman 3- RDJ aka Tony Stark wears the “London Calling” in Black in several scenes along with it being used as a prop when Rebecca Hall aka Maya Hansen took them off Tony Starks face and out them on hers.
Ant-man -Michael Douglass aka Hank Pym wears the Intium “Radio Radio” in clear in several scenes as well as in Ant-man 2 which we are working on now
Avengers 2- Robert Downey Jr aka Tony Stark wears the Initium “All In” color Matte Black with Red Tips that was made for this movie to match the red Audi R8.
Stan Lee wears the Initium “Hardways” in his Cameo
They have also been showcased in over 30 Lionsgate films. These have been released and lots more that have not yet been released
Nerve, Book Of Henry, Ride Along 2, Independence Day.
We have finished these for Lionsgate and they all have at least 3 pairs of Initium in them Bad Moms Christmas starring Mila Kunis, Dirtier Grandpa starring Robert De niro ,Speech and Debate, Tribes of Palos Verdes starring Jennifer Garner, Going Under starring Bruce Willis, Stronger starring Jake Gyllenhaal, Untouchable starring Bryan Cranston and another 10 more. As they are released we will let you know.
Spider-man reunion- Robert Downey wears our “Concept 2” which will be available end of Aug
Black Panther- This is the first of 3 movies slated for the Black Panther. He wears our “Hybrid Moment” in Black and Gold in both clear and Sun
Mission Impossible 6- Henry Cavill ( Superman ) is wearing the “7th son” in Matte Black and also the “Cocktails 2” in Polished Silver
Ant-man and the Wasp -Michael Douglass wears the “Radio Radio” in clear again and Evangeline Lilly aka the Wasp wears the “Hybrid Moment” in the clear-Purple
Avengers 3- Avengers 4 Infinity Wars:
This is a 2 part saga where they back in time and Tony Stark wear the “All In”, the “London Calling” and a couple new styles- Aces High in Blue in a sunglass as well as the 7th son in Blue and in Matte Black.

They probably sent them to the set, but no, the only initiums on screen in the last two avengers movies if I recall correctly are the ones BannerHulk wears in Endgame

From an engineering standpoint, Monel is far from a low end material.
It's actually a relatively expensive alloy, commonly used in the aerospace, chemical, and oil industries. It's less expensive than, say, titanium, but it is about 3x the cost of carbon steel. Monel has excellent mechanical properties and retains its strength at very high temperatures. It's also very resistant to corrosion by many agents including salt water, concentrated hydrofluoric acid, sulfuric acid, hydrochloric acid, and even corrosive fluorides.
Here's a few common Monel uses:
- high temperature aircraft parts
- magnetometer parts
- high pressure corrosion resistant valves and regulators
- water and fuel tanks
- boat propeller shafts
- military dog tags
