Bob the Alien (Giger inspired Alien)

I decided to have another go at he's cheeks:





Its a little painfull undoing an area like this but it had to be done.




& the rebuild:







& a comparison from side to side of the repositioned pipe & resculpted cheek:



Still needs some work detailing, texturing etc but I'm much happier with it now

I'm still loving it! Nice job.

I for one was glad that when Jim Cameron made Aliens, he did away with the
skull face on it though. To me, It just looks so out of place in the design. I'm
glad it really didn't show up in the film than it does in still photo's.

Right, After working on his gnashers yesterday I looked at them this morning & thought I can do better than that.

So I cut them off, cut them up, made them wider & then put them back together again.

I then started on the bottom jaw, Heres some pic's:

Here you can see the teeth are bigger



& with it all fitted:





I need to shape up the gum's with clay & then I can move on to the next bit.

I do plan (at the moment) to make the lips & tendons in a semi clear rubber of some sort.
However knowing me I'm likely to change my mind at some point

OK, I made 8 new fangs this morning (all curved) & fitted them:



I also had to reset the jaw & the lower front teeth, I'm done with teeth for now :sleep.
Heres a little pic of the temporary tongue I've been using made of foam, it has wee hinges for the wee jaws
