The Backstory:
This idea for a display case arose from a happy opportunity with Artist Mark Raats. His original case served as inspiration for a service pistol presentation case that Deckard would have received from the LAPD upon becoming a Blade Runner. I asked Mark if he would be willing to make me a case, but he politely declined due to a busy schedule. I asked his permission to use and expand upon his design, to which he graciously agreed.
Using my time at Vancouver Film School which i attended many moons ago for Art Direction, where we watched Blade Runner frame by frame, i came up with an "in-world" case that was worthy of such a special piece.
