Who makes this?In the meanwhile, this beauty is on it's way to my home ;-). It was MUCH more expensive than brandomack's (I would not have paid the price I paid if I didn't REALLY want a replica of this prop, I guess) and not in metal, but since I dropped out of this run, I went looking for alternatives and this one just looked awesome. Additionally, it was located in the EU, so no risk of the blaster getting confiscated by customs (or the risk of getting a huge customs fees bill).

Anyway, I hope this run turns out OK. Looking forward seeing the finished product of brandomack! An all metal K's blaster with working electronics and real Carbon Fiber grips would be the ultimate version of this prop, I guess...
sorry brandon i don't understand your last post.can you explain it please?![]()
so does this mean you are not finishing the original blasters?
Correct. The grip has been the hold-up.so we can still get the blaster we signed up for if we are prepared to wait?
No, as much as it would help, its on me to find the money. So Brandon,if people who have stayed in on this run where willing to pay you the $63.50USD would this help speed things up? That way you are not struggling to find the cash to sort the grips out.![]()
No, they will be carbon fibre and resin throughout. From my understanding, they use a steel mold, with prepreg carbon fibre cloth and resin which is then vacuum bagged and put into an autoclave to cure.So what will the grip be made of then? Pewter coated with carbon fiber?
