Molotow will give you a close-to mirror finish, way better than Alclad, Alumaluster and similar, IF you do it right. It's pretty tricky, though. (There's a good alternative called AK Super Chrome which is essentially the same thing, but a lot cheaper!)
The Hydro-chroming method used above (which is admittedly more reflective when done well) is also sometimes referred to as "spray silvering". Sadly, I no longer have a local place that does it, but from what I recall, it's pretty toxic/corrosive and should only be done if you have the option for proper protective gear. You're essentially spraying silver nitrate dissolved in water. Nice to see it done on a prop though!
