Well, to be honest…the plan was always to have real carbon fibre grips, and this will accomplish the task beautifully. Try as i might, i couldn’t get a finished product myself that i was happy to put my name to.
The other components will still be metal though.

I’ll also be pouring some parts in zinc, so that will help too.

The manufacturer sent me a photo of the 2 test castings. Here they are in rough format. He states that they will still need to be CNC routed inside, sanded polished etc. he says these will take a few weeks to be ready. I’ll share photos of the finished ones as i get them.

Just got back from the alloy manufacturer, i have the money to order the grips once i have approved the samples in-person.
