I think if they are going to do this they should maybe go the Back To The Future II route. Have them go back to the 80s and do the whole "movie within a movie" deal. Make it a real period piece for the nostalgia.
I know that is just rip off of BTTF2, but I still think it would be great having them meet their younger selves.

Because it takes you back to your youth when you thought that hot divorcee at the end of your street asked you to mow her lawn for reasons other than getting her yard work done. Which is essentially... ? Nostalgia.
Although I don't think a sequel would be an entirely bad idea. Done right, it has potential.

Hopefully they release it on June 9th next year.
