I'm speechless, that photo of Nic Cage in that costume really disturbs me for some reason. He's a different type of dude.

I wonder what the toupe he would have worn was going to look like?

This costume doesn't look nearly as bad as the other one. What material is it made of? He seems to be able to bend his arms without the material wrinkling up badly.

@Sundowner @greylocke have you heard about the recent documentary The Death of Superman Lives. It actually makes Nic Cage's Superman look bad*ss. I saw the doc a few months ago, I think its on VOD/Netflix now.

Here's an unpopular choice:

I actually like this costume. I always think you can either go for realism or stylized. It annoys me when they walk the line. It gets muddy. But this one went stylized and it went full tilt.

It's a shame the movie was horrible. I also actually liked Clooney. I don't think it's fair to blame him for the awful movie...he was arguably the best part of a movie that was so bad it almost single handedly killed the genre. Even Arnold was unwatchable in that, and we've even been willing to watch Arnold in some terrible movies and liked it anyway because of him.

I also liked these (except for Robin's nipples...even now they are curiously disturbing)

and I kind of miss Alicia Silverstone. Did that movie pretty much kill her career? I don't remember seeing her in anything after that.

It really says something when a movie is so awful that everything even closely associated with it is basically banned from future movies. Seems like only Clooney, Arnold, and Uma Thurman came out of that intact, and even Arnold had to go sit in the corner and be a politician for most of a decade to think about what he had done.

Yeah there's a handful of things that were good about that movie. I really appreciated seeing a Robin that didn't just look like a mini Bruce Wayne clone, so complaints about his acting aside I thought O'donnell looked good as Dick Grayson, and the Nightwing style suit is awesome (again nipples notwithstanding)
