So when you wear an ensemble of clothing that have the same colour you wear your underwear over it?

I for one love the new suit but then again thats all down to personal preference.

Supes took some getting used to I admit- but now I rather like it. It helped me realize the truth that, well, red underwear on the outside is stupid looking, lol. I realize now that I was only a fan of it for nostalgia's sake

The new movie depicts him without the red shorts as well, although so far I'm digging the comic more, since he has a bold red belt. The movie appears to just have a yellow outline of a belt.

I think a solid belt might help keep it from looking like a unitard so much, the above comic pic does look pretty good, but thats always the chalenge of making an actor look like an illustration.

I think part of the problem with the Man of Steel (MOS) Superman costume is that it's too dark. I don't think of Superman as a dark hero ala Batman... I've said it before: Superman is meant to be a big, bright, shining beacon of hope... he stands for "Truth, Justice and the American way" (even if Superman Returns was afraid to say it). Historically, the costume has always been big, bright and pwoerful... And historically, it has had the shorts - love 'em or hate 'em the shorts complete the costume for me - they break it up and make the ensemble all that more aesthetically pleasing.

The new 52 Superman costume is just a train wreck to my eyes. Between the terrible collar, the lack of shorts and the busy boots... it just fails. I swear, it's like DC gave Jim Lee too much freedom and just let him make Superman's look a too busy look. They gave Lee too much trust and just let them over-design their icon.

The Daredevil ninja getup in Trial of the Incredible Hulk was pretty awful.

Hellboy is my fave. I think his costume looks great. Along with Abe Sapien. All the characters in the movie looked fantastic.

This costume doesn't look nearly as bad as the other one. What material is it made of? He seems to be able to bend his arms without the material wrinkling up badly.
