The pre-molded holes are too large and there aren't enough of them. I'm more interested in the clear parts for allowing more accurate windows. It's just DUMB that the clear parts have the same holes.
I don't want to be Debbie Downer #4378 on the Internets, but when a kid who grew with the OT unfolding in theaters and has held onto that galaxy for 40 years through the dark years and through a, to put it charitably, 'uneven' prequel trilogy, is thinking to himself "yeah, I don't know if I'm going to bother catching that in the theater. Meh, whatever.", something has gone very badly wrong somewhere in this franchise.
B-Wings, Y-Wings, A-Wings, Star Destroyers and Tantive!
Seems like the resistance digged out their old fleet.

Anyway - I can definitely see some new runs of existing Bandai A-wings, Y-wings, B-wings, and T-70's with new Rise of Skywalker box art to capitalize on the release, so good times for us Star Wars model fans!
It's 'an amazing movie', is it? Well that's good to hear - I would certainly love to be amazed by a Star Wars movie again, and I do hope you enjoyed your exclusive sneak early viewing. Remember, no spoilers! Anyways, not sure where you got that, but no, that's not where the new films have lost me. I would have been just fine if we had moved to a period beyond where the original cast was involved at all. I just can't get behind a lead character who has never had to struggle or been even seriously challenged once through two films. How am I supposed to get excited and root for a character who sails through every obstacle placed in her way? I was unimpressed by what I saw in TFA as a boring and frankly lazy as hell reset of the galaxy back to where things were in ANH. I was disappointed in a second film that went nowhere in terms of stakes, that left things essentially where they started plot-wise, and that honestly hasn't set up any pressing new questions or conflicts that need to be resolved in the last film. I've gotten bored by a main villain who has been resoundingly defeated every time he encounters our hero. And I mean beaten like a rented mule. What tension is left in that relationship to mine? Ultimately I see a franchise either too lazy or too scared to legitimately try anything new, written by people who don't seem willing, for whatever reasons, to let what is supposed to be their new flagship character fail. I see what was sold to us as a trio of co-leads reduced to Rey and her idiot sidekicks...who don't share any screen time with her.Although everyone is entitled to their own opinions... The box office results and overall positive support of the new movies says otherwise. I get it, you're mad at how Luke and Han were killed off... But I've been a fan for 35 years and cannot wait until December to see this amazing movie...
And then buy all the new kits!
Yaaay! Another year full of exciting re-boxes!![]()
Hm, from my part of the world the price for the Y-wing hasn’t changed much, from the introduction it was a little pricier than a Tie- fighter or a X- wing.Anything that gets more sales of the line is good for those of us that want Bandai to tool-up and do things like a TIE Bomber, Tyderium or a Perfect Grade Nebulon B Frigate. Repackaging might introduce more fans to better quality kits than the crap you know Revell is going to dump - and since the A-Wing, Y-wing and Resistance T-70 are already tooled by Bandai - "reprinting" them and reboxing them at a decent competitive price - might introduce new fans to the joys of Bandai engineering and attention to details and grow their market share here. That is a good thing for those of us that want new kits. I got a kick out of watching one old-timer Modeller on Youtube gush his pants putting a Bandai kit together.
Also, I would like another Bandai Y-wing - but since the original is no longer in production the price online has more than doubled and I took a pass.
The holes are useless in the clear parts, and Bandai are the slide molds kings. One of the builds I read about mentioned filling in the clear parts' holes with clear resin. So they should have gone to the extreme cost of cutting two sets of molds for the limited release run?
Those are Devastator Imperial I-Class destroyers in that trailer, not Avenger Class IIs. Same model as Episode IV in the original Star Wars and also seen in Rogue One. So apparently the Empire has squirreled away a massive fleet of those in hiding. I certainly hope that there is a refit somewhere down the line for a Bandai version of that one too!

Can't see if those are old B-wings and A-wings or new upgraded versions as in The Last Jedi. Looks like the A-wings are stubbier and would likely be the older ones. If they are the older ones, Bandai already has us covered. A larger Blockade Runner would be nice.
Not sure what that Freighter type ship is. At first I thought the Outrider, but no. Not the Ghost either. So it's a new ship that we may get a Bandai treatment of someday if it has more than a cameo in this battle or not.

Is it just me or do those screenshots look like a cut and pastes in Photoshop.
For example, why would all those Star Destroyers line up on almost the same 2D plane? Looks amateurish.
