Bandai release schedule

But why make the other piece, the top of the bridge, clear at all?
Easy parts layout? I dunno. These aren't even the final parts.

As for holes for the windows I'd prefer to not have them. The wedge shaped structures along the outer edge of the hull have two rows of windows on the studio model, very hard to drill out for fiber. I'd prefer an all clear kit with no window holes. Just light the whole interior, light block the exterior, and use the tiniest drill bit you can find to etch through the paint.

Also why is the ceiling of the hangar is clear. I understand if the sides are clear since that’s where the light are.

Big enough for me; the question of "why can't X be bigger" is always countered by "where the HELL am I gonna put this"

THAT is where I certainly find myself these days - which is why I took a pass on the Bandai PG Falcon. I gots nowheres to put and display it.

The HELL is with those three depressions on the ventral hull???? Please, please Bandai tell me you haven't done that to fit a stand or something stupid to that gorgeous kit.

Doesn't look like it from the 3D printed production proof.

Looks like parts go there from this photo of the ventral hull from the prototype:

It's a 3D printed prototype. The gaps at the conning tower base won't be there I guarantee you.

Ben

Finally a big Warhammer model (if it IS a model) that doesn't cost half my internal organs.
It suggests there's a paint set in the banner behind it... If they made one of these and you didn't paint it yourself, that would be a bit of a missed opportunity. So at the very least, I'd expect this to come apart to paint.

I just wonder what non metallic metal would look like at that scale!

Gans, that makes me so happy. I'd have to dig it up, but I was stumping for something like this back in the mid-'90s... UseNet, maybe? It's been a while. I suggested an internal armature the pieces snapped to, so it was posable, rubber gaskets for the joints between the armor pieces, transparent pieces for the gemstones and helmet lenses and target scopes... Maybe even, after a basic Marine was done, variant pieces for Chapter-specific shoulders or chest plastrons or helmets or accessories...
