Yeah, rOver, it was JoeCS's cockpit on Shapeways. Highly recommended.
Logged onto shapeways for the first time in ages to find they drastically increased the base price of fine detail models. My interior used to be a base price of $14.60 and now it's $37.50..... I don't understand what changed that warranted doubling the production costs!
Can you provide a link to your store? I can't find it on Shapeways...
I never made it public on shapeways, hence why you can't find it. If you're really interested, I can send you a PM, although I'm not sure the kit is worth the current cost
Ah, well, that does explain it! I was really just curious if you had any other offerings. Always good to follow great designers on Shapeways!

As noted above, JoeCS designed a five foot version of the cockpit. Here’s my page on the subject.
The Original Five Foot Falcon’s Strange Cockpit - Millennium Falcon Notes
That was JoeCS that did that beautiful 3d cockpit. I have it in mine.
Re: Bandai 1/72 Millennium Falcon
For those who are interested, I have uploaded the 3D file (stl) of the mount of my previous post.
DropMeFiles – free one-click file sharing service
(the link lasts for about a week)
I advise those who consider using this file to adjust the size of the hexagonal hole to suit the long-nut that you are going to use.
DISCLAIMER: I am not liable for any Millennium Falcons crashed (or whatever happens) by using this file (or whatever you do).
Yep that huge wedge of cheese,...& you'd think the McLaren parts would be easier to replicate than those torch-like things

In case any these are valuable to anyone here... here are 11 photos I took of the 5-Foot Falcon when it was at the Science Museum of Minnesota in the summer of 2008 (Oh how I wish I knew how valuable these would be to me now, because I would've taken so many more lol).
I white-balanced each raw file off the hull since the lighting was so funky (so I can't vouch for the color accuracy, unfortunately)

Well done, thanks for the photos !
for the whitebalance, well ... not easy with the glass, the funky light, and without color checker. But there's a way to work on it in photoshop, using a curve adjustment layer, then select the mid grey from the curve, and go onto a known mid grey in the image, click on it, it'll adjust RGB. you can also set the adjustment layer to color mode instead of normal, so it won't affect the light.
Would it be possible to reupload this .stl file? I see I'm a little late to this particular party lol... Thanks!
Well now that's news...i asked them about PE here about 6 or 8 months ago and was told they had no plans...musta changed their minds. good news though as I'm only in the early stages of mine.Greenstrawberries has released some aftermarket PE-parts for the PG Falcon:
NEW SCI-FI PRODUCTS
No decals, though.
yeah, they do look pretty nice. I was considering maybe using Haystack's fans and the supplied screens. i made molds of some of his parts for future MPC builds of which there might be one more in my future, but that's iffy. I got 3 kits left in the closet. i don't imagine Bandai wants anyone doing a decal sheet, but they had to have expected someone would at some point, and more and better PE for that matter. The Greenstrawberry engine grills also look like they assemble in two pieces to mimic the raised vertical ribs on the original Kool Shade. That's an upgrade from the Bandai PE. If someone comes out with a separate decal sheet, it will be safe to buy the standard PG version.
