Another Original Motion Tracker Build PIC HEAVY!!

Suh-wheeet! Good fer you!

I'm missing a couple of things still for mine, but I'm still looking. Curse that CRT Screen and bezel! ;)

KC

I scratch built the video display on the top, actually the only parts used that were the found items were:

the television
the bottom of the scope
the little stems, which were the knobs off the same Pioneer radio
gully cover
slide switches
speaker grill
Vauxhall key and tumbler
and the dial

Everything else was custom made. I'd love to find the right CRT display one day, but I'm not going to hold my breath. That being said, I would have never thought the Pioneer Scope would have been found either.

I wish i could give you some advice on molding them...it was a tricky piece because of the backside having different levels.

Nice work Gregg!
Mine's slowly coming together, and the wife sneers at me when she walks by the pile-o-bits! Guess I'll have to speed it up a mite!
I'm still hoping to pick up a Pioneer cheap, but, somebody... beats me to them!
Did you cast that copy yourself?
Nicely done!
Jeff

Yes, I have a real pioneer scope I molded myself. Good luck on finding the scope cheap though, I think I paid about $100 for mine.

Gregg

Damn, I wish I could find the parts does anyone reproduce the parts to build this critter?
I have the Ranger TV already gutted and now I just need the add-ons.

Any help with this would be great!

Keith.....I could probably come up with a parts kit for you. What are you needing?

Thanks! Time to start number 3, or at very least figure out which parts I still need to make.

Gregg

Just found this thread, stunning work!!

If you or anyone else ever offers these as a kit or (if I could afford it) a built up, I's be very very interested.

L

I can offer a lot of the parts, but I don't see doing any more build ups. I do have 3 more tv's though, so who knows.
