I really want to start on my Angelica coat as that will be the biggest job and would love to see some more photos.

Have the blouse almost completed and my leather corset arrived from Hong Kong, I am really likely this look! :thumbsup

The corset I have purchased is leather, however it doesn't have /\ in tne centre, as a lot of the ones that do would be too long for me.

I will have to shape the trim so that it appears to have a point.

I think I'm going to go for this one and mod the daylights out of it.. I guess all it would really require is cutting off the top half and putting a new trim on it... but I really want that point at the center between the bust and at the waist!

Sparrowed, I did see them. The only one good enough for me to want is the $189 one. XD Therefore, I'd rather just snatch up the $25 one and mod it. I wish I had enough funds to have one custom made! D:

Boots came in yesterday! They are perfect. My wifey is 5 foot 3 inches so they are perfect length to her knees. She likes them also because they are comfortable and 1/2 inch heel. She tried them out by walking around the block this evening with the kids. We had a fun time explaining who, what, why, and how of the boots to a few people!!!love

We tried on a pair of her old drop front breeches but with that style of pants they tend to suffer from "butt sag." That is just the cut of those type of pants. So I think we are going to go with black capri pants and just add a faux drop front and the buttons.

I ended up going with this corset.

I do like that corset, I have found it on ebay. I written to the seller requesting the body length, as I am short in the waist and this could be too long for me. It is very nice :thumbsup

Received a reply from seller - The front length is 12.5 in, back length is 12 in, the side length is 9.5 in

It is winter here, so I have had the chance to wear my boots and they are comfortable.

Hopefully some pics will come out this week and we'll get to see clearer images of all Angelica's detailing!

As I said, I may have the fabric printed, if I can get a clear paisley shot.

I don't know if I want to hunt anymore for paisley! I am working on five costumes simultaneously: Upgrades to OST Jack, my sons mini-Jack upgrades, Angelica Teach, Alice Kingsley armor, and Mallyikum doormouse.

I know my seamistress is working hard on her very own costume so I am going to have to use the close enough for now and maybe look into final material in the future before the premiere. I still do like that original paisley that you posted (I found the same one too) as the close enough.

I'm still hunting down all the links to the hat since I just did a search in Thefind.com and just grabbed various images.

If you guys want to get fabric printed prior to the premiere I would be interested in sharing in some of the cost. I know custom fabric is not cheap but I am figuring about 2-3 yards is all that is needed for the front panels with a little leftover for error.

What is the standard length for a bolt of material? I do think that a bolt is 2 yards wide?

Let me know if that is something you fellow Angelica's want to do!

As I said, I may get mine printed. My seamstress can't start anything until September, so it still gives me a couple weeks to search, but if I can't find anything by then, sure I'll go in with you. There may be one more person as well so that makes three!
