Im really having a pain with that Ace metallic. Chips off easily even after a day, doesnt go on smooth... maybe I need to warm it up more?

I had the same problem. Multiple coats, multiple chips, multiple strippings and recoatings.

You GOTTA be patient. Wait at least three days before handing and/or trying to sand the flanges.

Dude warming it up is key it even looks different when it’s warm

I had the same issue with the Ace paint and ended up using the Mig Old Brass hobby paint instead.

another late night in the shed, gotta work in a few hours. decided to throw out another photo for proof im making progress. gonna need 2-3 more days guys.

I'm so glad I waited to do anything on the Yuma until you finished! Never knew it had that much black on the booster and emitter. Great work!

Guys no joke, I ran into a issue last night... my mind is gone, I’m not thinking correctly because I’m mentally exhausted

When doing the ring section I had about 20min of footage I never recorded..

The emitter gave me a few problems, my stencils are to scale but the way I weather is removed too much paint making the designs way to small.. tried enlarging my stencils but can’t control the weathering.. you’ll see in the finished video..

I missed some key steps, so now im re doing the rings and the emitter

I tried “editing” around this.. and throwing in some videos trying to explain, but watching the final video last night before uploading to YouTube I just can’t expect this.. it’s horrible

This morning I’m going to repaint the ring section and emitter, and finish it up this afternoon.. so sorry guys.

Thanks, I was out early this morning before work, once I get home I’m going to try and do it all at once
