Throw it in my lathe and sand it, if you don’t have a lathe a power drill with a wire wheel works

Halliwax when you clear coat, do you do the entire hilt put together or do you do each individual piece including the inside?

I tape off the windvane section and coat the entire thing 3 times

Very light coats.. to the point where when I’m done with the coat it doesn’t look wet

Pictures have filters so it’s not showing the V2’s true color...

Because the windvane needs the burned gloss finish to mimic the profile picture exactly

Coating the windvane with clear matte will not get it to look like Brandon’s profile picture

I go over this in the video a few times, not to clear the windvane

All your hard work is negated if you do

Did anyone ever have the idea that the cone knob placed on the V2 in ROTJ was to fill the hole left by the toggle switch for the motor on the ANH version??
