Halliwax I have been following your aging tutorial and I saw the part where you say to pick up bolts for the booster and pommel. In your video you say you left the grub screws in too. Should I get bolts for all of these components rather than using the included set screws? Also, what did you do for the emitter set screws as well?

The a14 strips the black off the screws. I got extra 3mm screws for the emitter and nipple

The cone knob, mystery chunk, and booster are 4m,5m & 6m bolts

Remove those set screws and install the bolts when dipping

I only started doing this after my tutorial and edited into the thread

Because I didn’t use any bolts in place of the set screws, and dipped them with nothing I them

The acid gets inside the threads and clogs them up. I broke my personal mystery chunk off.. that’s when I decided to start dipping with bolts in the threads to keep the acid out

I’ve always had a hard time painting in New England winters..

Forecast showed a 47degree Sunday, this week has been frozen...

I built some heat boxes out of some cardboard boxes and radiant floor thermo shield.

Got my electric heater going, and it worked flawlessly!!

Don’t know if it will work in 20degree days, but it kicked @$$ today!!

No. I was sanding the prongs on the graflex clamp and then the inside emitter section to make the spin more smooth

Just finished reading through this entire thread. And WOW. Just wow. There are so many amazing people in this thread. I didn’t think there was so many people that cared as much about each detail as I do about movie props! Thank you all so much.
