From my understanding is that the threading is different?? Can anyone confirm?

I can't remember exactly, but I thought the Russrep parts were exact copies of the real parts, threading and all.

I could be wrong, and I reckon nobody here recalls. Oh well.

Hey Guys,

Been getting a lot of emails about this, so I might do a 3rd and and possible Final Run.

Hi, I just saw this thread. Pretty excited. I have a Roman MK1 FX hilt, not the static one with a long 1" threaded rod. I bought it in 2015 and I've been looking for a nice core to light it up. This could be it!

Question:

1. Any chance to run the wires through the neck and into the emitter? I still want to be able to put a blade on it at some point. Will need to make the blade holder later. But I just want to know there's a possibility.

2. When you say it's for "Romans New FX saber ( must be current booster and grenade )", did Roman change the MK1 FX hilt after I bought mine? I'm not sure if mine has the current booster and grenade. I got mine in Oct 2015. Not sure if it's the current FX hilt.

I'm definitely interested.

You can run wires through for the main blade. Check out this thread for several wiring diagrams and other ideas.
