So do we have to trim the threads on the top transistor? Mine wont go in all the way.

I wouldn't trim the threads, I put the chamber together, then marked the screw hole with a sharpie. Disassembled the chamber and drilled the sharpie hole just a little deeper and wider so the screw threads fit in it

I drilled and tapped the area under the top transistor. I didn't want to trim the threads because I was afraid it wouldn't be as sturdy. FYI the thread size on the transistor holes is 8-32.

I got this in the mail last night. DUDE. Super slick. This definitely completes my special MK1 that my lady bought me for Christmas.

i also drilled and tapped the top hole and it turned out fine. Took maybe two minutes in total. I can also confirm that the transistors are 8/32.

They are press fit, but you can take them out and Then just put them back in with a dot of Super Glue Gel.

Got mine yesterday in the mail. It's AWESOME! The opening mechanism works great. Now question. The chamber and the cage are press fit. I plan to anodize both units in black or gun metal. I wonder if the anodizing place would suggest to separate them apart. But I worry both parts might get damaged if I try to pull them apart since they're very tight fit. What's the best way to take them apart? I might just take both parts to the anodizing shop to ask them if it's ok just to anodize both parts together as is.

Either or will work but if you wanna take it apart just pull and rock back and forth.

Ok I got my Romans fx hilt and been drooling over this for a crystal chamber. But I was late to the party and ended up on
the waiting list. so I am wondering (sorry noob question time). does the waiting list work the same way as the normal run list .
color coded so blue is confirmed for run, green is you paid, black is shipping and so on and so on?
