24" Colonial Viper

Seeing Mikes excellent kit reminded me that i had a huge 24 inch viper in the loft. I bought this about 5 years ago , when i was a newbie to larger resin studio models. I think that enough time has passed for me to accurise this a little and do it justice. Anyone know of any good ref photos or sites?

Didn't these come out of england? Sold through Comet Miniatures? Could make an interesting display.

Yeah, the ICONS Viper was actually smaller than the original due to the multi-generational recasting that took place before ICONS got one.

At this scale, definitely with interior! I'd go as "hero" as possible. Since the details are upscaled kit donor pieces, perhaps some of them could be replaced with more detailed pieces that look the same at first glance but stand up to better close-up scrutiny. The buttplate, for instance, looks pretty plain at this scale. Perhaps some sort of etched brass gridwork or the like between the bigger details.
