Hey guys,
earlier this year I finished my MK II X-Wing models of Red 3 and Red 5!
While my MK I model was a mix of several X-Wings and designed in 1/12 (and had several inaccuracies) - the MK II models are designed in studio scale (1/24) and represent the individual call sign. I tried my best to be as accurate as possible to the original Hero X-Wing models. From fuselage form, greeble placement, panel lines, up to the smallest chip.
The finished model shown here is the first test print and has some print errors in it. That’s why I didn’t go with a hero paint job. It is the Red 3 model with Red 5 nose, painted as Rogue 10.
The CAD pictures show some of the differences between Red3 and Red5.
Cheers
