2001 Space Helmet Resources

Hi all,

I'm new to the forums, and am looking for some info on a project I'd like to start in the new year, being a replica of the space helmet used in 2001 A Space Odyssey.

I'll be CAD modelling and printing the shell, and I'm looking for any resources. So far I've found some photos but no dimensions or plan views, line drawings, etc. There's an existing model on Thingiverse, but to be honest I'd rather draw it myself to ensure it's accurate.

Any resources for makers of this helmet?
