I was able to get some more progress done. This time it is on the backsplash consoles. I want to have a combination of blinking and static lights to give it more realism so I began to isolate some sections. Working within a 1/32" tolerance for the walls was challenging but not too awful.











Aluminium tape for light blocking does the trick!






Here is a look at the back side of the completed lightboxes.


Now all that is left is to install the lights and close them up. More to come. I'll get to the soldering after I get over this cold I have right now. Just typing is taxing at the moment.
