Back to the drawing board, with some aftermarket resin that had much cleaner vents, depth-wise, than I made with my brutish hands/dremel. I left one off, so I could make it look like it was a troublesome spot that was constantly being fixed.

This is an awesome idea and build. I know that over at Rag-Tag Fleet forum for the freeware Space sim, "Orbitor", that one user actually considers the TOS Viper as the Viper Mark I, but I like what you've done so far with the design. Can't wait to see the end result. :D

Jason the electronic part your putting in there sucks, and I definitely don't want to know how you figured it out.......other than that it's looking great!!!:lol:thumbsup See ya round have fun with this I will check back in latah!

LOL! Thanks fellas! Speaking of "madman", Madman Lighting made a custom light and power rig for me that powers everything off of one 12V source! I'm embedding leds into wing roots, so I'll have pics next week!

Love the 2nd rev engine! Very nice! You could stash some moonshine in there and say it's Starbucks Viper. :)

Impressive! You definitely utilized a lot of the original TOS Viper design, but with what I'm seeing so far, the Mark I your building looks a lot like a logical precursor to the Mark IIs featured throughout the series.

Thanks! I am trying! In fact, this evening I went koo-koo again, and changed the "greeblie wells" location to a newBSG spot:

First off...there WERE no 1/12th scale Viper filming models. And certainly NONE with a working dradis display in the cockpit. :eek

And...

Your laser cannons are not "canon". :rolleyes

I was also offended by your incorrect, nu-BSG thrusters. :confused

And NOW, you have moved the greeblie wells... :lol

I have had enough. Where will this end???!!! :angry

Mods...isn't this a banable offense? :confused

Just send this travesty to me and will make sure it is disposed of properly! :lol
