You mean the old WW1/WW2 english ones? Yes i agree. But Ill have to find a cheaper option at the material shop though...Military canteens have historically come with a wool, or similar canvas, outer cover that you soak with water. This then cools the container as it dries. These in the original photo look to not only show texture but actual cloth wraps. This would be expected to be there so I zoomed in. Could be lighting but it looks like they are wrapped around like a band, open at the top and bottom but fully wrapping around 360.
The screen pics have just the mid band instead of the full carrier sleeve. Starts at the line that the plastic bottle starts its textured area:You mean the old WW1/WW2 english ones? Yes i agree. But Ill have to find a cheaper option at the material shop though...View attachment 1826351

Then I saw you legs on top of the seat head restHopefully you had some kind of help; I could see the headlines on the 6 o'clock local news: "Man stuck into his recreation of a SW Snowspeeder"

Thank you sir. i am so happy with it. I want it in the lounge room but... a) I dont have the space, b) divorce is very costly. It's looking so good! This was on my bucket list, until I realized I'd need someplace to put it. Really beautiful work.
