Stargate Anubis & Ra

Here’s a pic I found on the net as reference.
Looks like I could use a bit more patina color around the jaw line.

Here’s Ra! It’s just the face but I had started to build/ sculpt the rest of his mask. I ran out of steam but will get back to it one day.

There’s STL’s of Ra:
Horus and Anubis Guards:
Apophis Serpent Guard:

You’d need a decent sized 3d printer and they’d take some cleaning up but they all seem like pretty nice models.
I’ve got the Serpent Guard helmet in my list of “things to one day print”.

The face on the Ra digital model doesn't look right, but the rest looks pretty good. If that part can be printed without the face, and scaled to the casting from original, then that would look pretty damn good.

The Horus and Anubis models look a little weird in some places... like they are just too clean and a bit too angular models and not fully refined.

You are correct! I might have to look into 3d printing this thing out. The result would be fantastic.

I think I’m calling this one done for now. Thank you everyone for the comments

I’ve started the process of printing the digital Ra out and I had to scale it down a bit to fit the mask I have. I had to slice the files to over 30 pieces to be able to print on my midsized resin printer. My maximum build height is around 8.5 inches and takes 24 hrs for each run. Here are some pics of the progress so far and thanks for looking…

Here are some more parts cleaned up and primed. The front chest piece was cut up into 5 parts.

I don’t think super glue will hold this thing together. Probably will go with 5 min epoxy for a stronger bond.

Beautiful work, you really nailed that Anubis and those prints look clean clean clean.
Thanks! Here’s one run coming out of the vat. Each part needed to be washed, cured, and lightly sanded before being primed

This is just phenomenal! Well done! I have been trying to 3d Print the model I bought from CG Trader for 2 years now. :) I will finish it sooner or later!
