This is for a limited run of five Blade Runner Snub Nose Blaster kits. A build thread for this project is here:

Bill Doran (Punished Props) posted an video of his excellent build of the kit here:

The price for the kit is $329 plus shipping.

A note about the grips - There are 3 sets of colorless* clear grips available and 4 sets of hard black rubber grips available. No amber, red or faux ivory grips this time. *The colorless grips are an ever so slightly warm color. Not to the point where you would call them yellow but definitely not perfectly "water white". They were water white when I poured them and have discolored slightly over the past 18 month. I would not anticipate this to continue but who knows. They still look really cool. I will not be pouring any more clear grips of any color ever again. Way too much of a PITA!

International buyers (outside of the United States) - I cannot accept any responsibility for kits being held or impounded by customs. Some countries, Like the United Kingdom and Australia have very restrictive rules about importing even fake plastic firearms. Order at your own risk.

If you are would like to purchase a kit please PM me. Let me know what country you live in and what color grips you would like. Please also include an email address. I will contact you with PayPal information.

The problem is not people on the fence on getting this kit, it's Dave not having time to make lots more! :D

lol .. kidding Dave!

Nice blaster Mark!

:thumbsup

The five available kits I had were snapped up in less than 20 minutes! Based on requests I poured five more kits over the weekend, those are already spoken for. I'm getting ready to move onto some other projects so if you are undecided about getting a kit, this may be the last chance for a good while.

So, I was lucky enough to snag one of these kits. However, looking at a few of the finished models shown to date (Bill Doran, KramStarr), i am pretty sure i cannot do justice to this kit. Anyone have suggestions on who i could perhaps source out to and have this kit done to perfection. I have the clear grip version. Thanks!

Kirk

Kirk,

First, I would say that this is a pretty easy kit to put together. Minimal clean up. Bill Doran has some excellent tutorials on his site about painting props. In particular, his videos about finishing and painting his Rey's Blaster contain a lot on information of painting metallic finishes that are appropriate to the Snubby.

He's also got a great YouTube channel:

This kit doesn't look any more difficult than a Coyle kit; which I will admit seems intimidating on screen but once you've got the parts, it becomes clear you're in for a straightforward (and awesome) time putting it together.

I've been busy casting the parts for this run of 24 kits. The molds are now shot so there is not likely to be another run. 23 of the 24 kits are spoken for. There's only one left...
